Research notes from S.:

- Karameh (Dignity) Strike across historic Palestine in May 2021 as part of the Unity Intifada. "Dareen Tatour, Palestinian poet and writer explained it this way: "The general strike will highlight that Israeli hospitals are run by a big percentage of Palestinian doctors and that the Israeli economy depends on Palestinian workers, and this strike will cause loss to Israel, if it is successful. It is a big challenge to us because there's a potential that Palestinian workers could be fired because they joined the strike. But that's all we have - strikes, protests, and demonstrations, and most important of all the will to stand in front of the occupation." https://www.cjpme.org/otd_may_18

- Palestinian general strike in 2013 to stop the Prawer Plan (Israel planned to evict 70,000 Bedouin from the Negev/Naqab): https://beautifultrouble.org/toolbox/tool/stop-prawer-plan
